Enjoy Amazing Fall Activities All Day!
It might not be the hot sun and warm water ideal for a day of sun and surfing, but there are still endless activities to enjoy in fall! In fact, many sports and outdoor activities are even better with some cooler fall breeze.
Take a kayaking trip. Rent a boat, buy a boat, or head out on a guided tour to discover serene maritime landscapes along the creeks and canals of Hilton Head.
Practice your swing—on the course or at the courts. Grab your racket or your clubs and head out to enjoy your favorite sport in ideal weather. Take a tennis or golf clinic or lessons, join a league, or just go out and play for fun.
Explore the Island with the Coastal Discovery Museum. The museum offers some pretty great educational and outdoor experiences for all ages, like the Explore Pinckney Island walking tours of the National Wildlife Refuge (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 11am).
Tour the Island by bike. Hilton Head Island is a top-rated Gold Level Bike Friendly Community with over 60 miles of multiuse trails, 30 local rental shops, plenty of local biking clubs, and even guided historic tours.
Go shopping! That’s right—Hilton Head Island is a shopper’s paradise with many unique local shopping centers, such as the scenic Shelter Cove Towne Center, the nautical Sea Pines Resort, or the trendy chic boutiques of Coligny at the Beach, and the Tanger Outlets mall nearby.
